KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. – Kittitas Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary in progress at a house in the Grasslands neighborhood east of Ellensburg.
The owners of the house were not home and reported the break-in based on their motion-detecting camera in the house.
Deputies responded quickly and tried to stop the vehicle they saw leaving the area, but the men fled on foot and law enforcement was unable to locate the suspects.
The vehicle and evidence inside of it were seized for the investigation.
