TWIN LAKES, Idaho — Deputies found human remains around Timber Ridge Road around 9:48 a.m. on Nov. 26.
According to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO), detectives received a call from a group of local hunters in the Twin Lakes area who found the body parts on their private property.
According to the Kootenai County Coroner’s Office and KCSO Detectives, the remains had been there for months. The identity of the victim and the cause of death is unknown.
More information will be released as the investigation continues.
