TUCSON, Ariz. – An individual has been detained for questioning by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department in connection with the abduction of Nancy Guthrie, multiple media outlets, including NBC News, reported on Tuesday night, after speaking with a law enforcement official who was involved with the case.
The suspect was detained with assistance from the FBI, following the release of new surveillance footage earlier on Tuesday that showed a masked individual on Nancy Guthrie’s front porch the night that she disappeared.
No further information has been released by law enforcement.
