IDAHO — The Idaho Trails Association (ITA) has announced that they will be launching their annual membership drive starting Nov. 28!

This date was specifically selected by the ITA because it happens to fall on “Giving Tuesday.”

Giving Tuesday is known globally as a day dedicated to charitable giving. So, ITA will be kicking their membership drive on Tuesday with hopes to expand their trail-loving community.

This membership drive “aims to rally outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers, and community-minded individuals to join hands in supporting the preservation and enhancement of Idaho’s diverse trail network.”

The drive is a critical component of ITA’s efforts to fund trail projects across the state of Idaho in 2024 along with special programs for youth, women and veterans. The ITA membership begins at $30 per year to join.

“This Giving Tuesday, we’re inviting everyone who values the great outdoors and wants to make a tangible impact on Idaho’s trails to become a part of our trailblazing community,” says Kelly Hewes, Communications Director for ITA. “Membership is not just a donation; it’s a declaration of love for our trails, ensuring they remain accessible and enjoyable for generations to come.”

If you are interested in joining the Idaho Trails Association and be a part of this exciting initiative, visit the ITA website to sign up.
