LAKE LOUISE, Canada – A Idaho teen competed in a ski competition and his jump had an unexpected twist after hitting the ski lift mid-air.
Ivan Jones, 17, said “When I hit the chairlift, I was actually in shock, so I didn’t feel anything.”
Jones was attempting to do the flat spin 360 and didn’t see that the chair lift was approaching.
He fortunately walked away from the incident with only minor injuries.
