WALLACE, Idaho – Quadruple murderer, Majorjon Kaylor, who pled guilty to killing a family of four in Kellogg, ID, is set to be sentenced Monday afternoon in Shoshone County District Court.

Kaylor pled guilty to lesser charges in December of 2023 for killing 65-year-old Kenneth Guardipee, his 41-year-old daughter, Kenna Guardipee, and her sons, Devin Smith, 18, and Aiken Smith, 16.

It was Jun. 18 2023 Kaylor killed the four, execution style, in the duplex they lived in. Kaylor told police he snapped and “did something about it.”

The murders came after Kaylor told police Devin Smith reportedly exposed himself to the suspect’s children and wife.

Kaylor’s guilty plea was reached as a result of mediation between the prosecution and defense. He pled guilty to second-degree murder rather than first-degree murder. Mediation also dismissed a felony burglary charge.

Shoshone County District Judge Barbra Duggan is expected to sentence Kaylor on Monday, March 25 at 1 p.m. in Wallace, ID.

Cameras will be allowed in the courtroom, and NonStop Local’s John Webb will bring updates here and on the air.
