BIOSE, Idaho – The National Guard is being activated in Idaho to assist the healthcare system and the Idaho Department of Correction (IDC).

Gov. Brad Little announced Monday the activation of 75 Guardsmen to ease the strain that staffing shortages are putting on both entities.

This is the fourth time the National Guard has been activated during the pandemic. Little also said he has secured over 500 additional personnel to assist in Idaho hospitals.
