SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane packed up their posters, grabbed their coats, and hit the streets to march for Martin Luther King Jr.

Community leaders started the day with speeches to remember and honor Martin Luther King Jr.

Stephy Nobles-Beans, Associate Chaplain at Whitworth University, posed a question to the morning crowd in Spokane: “If not us, who? If not now, when?”

Hundreds of people then braved the freezing temperatures and took the rally to the streets, walking with signs around Downtown Spokane to commemorate his life and legacy.
