Latah County Judge John Judge approved a motion to close one of accused quadruple murderer Bryan Kohberger’s hearings on Friday.

The hearing, scheduled for 10:30 a.m., has been closed to the public. In the hearing Judge Judge will take up a motion, filed by Kohberger’s public attorney, Anne Taylor, to dismiss his murder indictment “based on grounds of a biased grand jury”, according to court documents.

Another hearing will take place Friday at 1 p.m. This is a motion to dismiss the indictment on “grounds of error in grand jury instructions.”

The first hearing will involve conversation about evidence from the case, according to the 2nd District trial administrator, Roland Gammill. The 1 p.m. hearing will discuss the instructions that the grand jury were given before deciding on the indictment.

NonStop Local will be in the courtroom Friday and will have the latest here and over the air.
