A new report from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has revealed retired NASCAR driver Greg Biffle was not flying his plane when it crashed, resulting in his death and the deaths of six others.

According to the report, early findings indicate that retired airline pilot Dennis Dutton was at the controls along with his son, Jack. They, along with Biffle, noticed problems with gauges malfunctioning on the plane before the crash occurred.

Biffle, originally from Vancouver, Washington, was known for frequently visiting the Tri-City Raceways.
