SPOKANE, Wash. — The Great Horned Owl that had escaped from West Valley Outdoor learning center on Oct. 14 is still on the loose.

West Valley Outdoor learning center has released that after a 13 day hunt for Marcus, they still have not been able to locate him. They also have not had any sightings of him over the past couple days.

They are urging people to stay on the lookout for Marcus, the great horned owl with leather straps attached to his legs.

Although the West Valley Outdoor learning center hasn’t been able to locate Marcus, they have had the privilege of meeting members of the Spokane community.

Of the numerous people they met, they were able to educate them on great horned owls. While on their searches, they also have seen many resident wild owls that inhabit in Spokane!

The West Valley Outdoor learning center still have hope that Marcus will return and will continue to check out possibilities in the coming week.

If you think you have seen Marcus, please send pictures and videos to the West Valley Outdoor learning center through Facebook.

As a reminder, please do not feed or approach any wild animals including an owl that you believe might be Marcus.
