SPOKANE, Wash – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) went to Facebook to share out an important reminder to guard your drink this holiday season.
Getting roofied isn’t on anyone’s New Year’s resolution this upcoming year, so GCSO sent out some practical tips on how to keep you and your drink and this season.
Lower your risk by following these tips:
Don’t put down your drink. If you step away from it, don’t finish it. Don’t accept open drinks from anyone.Avoid punch bowls.Mack a pack with your friends to keep everyone safe.
If you think you may have been roofied, seek medical attention immediately. GCSO also suggests to contact New Hope if you or someone you know has been a victim of sexual assault.
