SPOKANE, Wash. – Gordy’s Sichuan Cafe will shut down its in-restaurant dining service on Tuesday, Feb. 20 and will focus on pick-up and delivery service only.
In an open letter to Spokane’s dining community, the cafe states the reason for the closure is because of an “unprecedented surge inoperational and lagging post-pandemic sales.”
The letter also states “We have not made this extraordinary decision easily, but it is necessary to ensure that Gordy’s legacy lives on. Please be part of Spokane’s effort to #SAVEGORDYS.”
The restaurant will still have its normal operating hours which are 11 a.m. through 8:40 p.m. Tuesday and Saturday.
