Get ready, Schweitzer will open for the 2023-24 season on Nov. 25!

SANDPOINT, Idaho — Those eager to hit the slopes this winter season don’t need to wait any little longer. Schweitzer will be opening for the 2023-24 season on Nov. 25.

They were scheduled to open on Nov. 24, but have pushed back the opening date 24 hours to provide additional time for snowmaking. Crews will be working hard to enhance the skiing and riding experience.

On Nov. 25 at 9 a.m., skiers and snowboarders can line up and get ready to hit the slopes at Schweitzer.

Here are some key details for opening day:

Operating Hours: 9:00 am – 3:30 pm Terrain: Midway trail only, accessed by Basin Express quad. (Please stay on the groomed trail) There will be no beginner terrain available at this time. Lift Tickets: Lift tickets will be available for purchase on-site at a discounted rate of $50. Dining: Various Schweitzer dining outlets are open now, including Crow’s Bench and Gourmandie, with more coming online starting with the Chimnry Rock Grill on Friday November 24 and Taps on Saturday & Sunday.Friday, Guest Services will be open 9am – 4pm the Activity Center will be open 8am – 4pm for any season pass / waiver issues. On Saturday, they both plan to open at 7:30am (as well as the Ski & Ride Center).
