Frosty mornings will keep our sweaters out for another weekend

Another round of freezing temperatures is on the way, potentially damaging sensitive plants across the region through the weekend.

Friday features dry conditions and a light north wind. Highs will mostly end up in the 50s again with a few 60s in the Columbia Basin. Friday Night, clear skies allow temperatures to plummet towards freezing for many areas.

What We’re Tracking

Many areas will drop to or below freezing early Saturday morning. A Freeze Watch begins Friday Night for Moses Lake and Lewiston.Cold overnight lows continue through Saturday Night. By Sunday night we’ll have warmed up enough to where freezing weather will no longer be a threat.

Conditions become a little unsettled on Monday and Tuesday, with spotty afternoon showers possible both days. Temperatures begin to rise heading into the middle of next week, with Bloomsday right around the corner.
