SPOKANE, Wash. – Flags nationwide will be at half-staff Friday, Oct. 27 in honor of the Lewiston, Maine mass shooting victims.
State and U.S. flags at all state agencies will be lowered through Oct. 30. Citizens and businesses are encouraged to join in recognition.
“Spokane sends its deepest sympathies and condolences to all those touched by the devastating tragedy in Maine,” said Mayor Nadine Woodward. “We join the country in mourning those who have lost their lives in this senseless act of violence.”
