We’re in the middle of a beautiful stretch of weather. Enjoy it now; an active pattern begins Friday night.
Plan Your Wednesday
Temperatures will start off a little cooler than recent mornings, but that won’t matter much when we’re back into the 60s in the afternoon. Today brings dry and quiet conditions region-wide. While most areas will see light winds, the Okanogan Valley and western Columbia Basin could get a little gustier in the afternoon. Wednesday Night will be chilly as temperatures drop into the 30s. Some sheltered northern valleys may even dip into the upper 20s.
What We’re Tracking
The pattern stays sunny and pleasant through Friday afternoon. Temperatures will warm back up through this period and finish out close to 70 degrees.
A more active pattern arrives this weekend, bringing a 40 to 80 percent chance of rain around the broader region. Thunderstorms are possible with the first wave of wet weather on Friday night, and thunder chances will continue through Saturday afternoon. Rain showers remain likely on Sunday with cooler temperatures on tap for early next week.
