Driver hits student in crosswalk near Pullman High School

PULLMAN, Wash. — Pullman police cited a driver for hitting a teen near Pullman High School Thursday morning.

According to officers, a pedestrian crash was reported at NW Greyhound Way and NW Emily Street around 8:20 a.m.

Police say a 15-year-old student had been hit by a vehicle and was taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police cited the driver for failing to yield and driving on a suspended license.

Pullman police advise people to always slow down around school zones.
