SPOKANE, Wash. – Dreamin’ Wild, which was filmed in Spokane, has been ranked as one of Time’s 10 best movies of 2023!
Dreamin’ Wild ranked No. 9 on the list. The film is about the true story of musician brothers, Donnie Emerson and drummer Joe Emerson, who were from Stevens County in Fruitland.
The film was shot in Spokane and on a farm in Fruitland back in 2021.
The film, directed by Bill Pohlad stars Casey Affleck, Walton Goggins and Zooey Deschanel to tell the story of what happens when two people who went after pop stars as teenagers get a second chance as middle-aged men.
According to Time, the film showed that “music can mean a lot in one lifetime: it can break dreams, but it can also mend them.”
