Does the Super Bowl logo predict who will play? Fans think Ravens and 49ers will face off this year

SPOKANE, Wash. — We will find out this weekend which teams will be playing in Super Bowl 58 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Feb. 11!

Now some fans already think that the teams have already been decided, before they even hit the field. All over social media a theory has been circulating that the colors on the Super Bowl logo predicts which teams will face off against each other ahead of the big game.

Now, if we look back at the 2022 the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams went head to head… guess what? The logo colors were orange and yellow!

This could have been a coincidence, but in 2023 the logo colors while the Super Bowl was in Arizona were red and teal. The teams that went face to face were the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.

This year? Well, it hasn’t been confirmed but many people believe that the purple and the red in the logo means that we’re gonna see a Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers matchup.

Now, our anchor Sam Adams who has covered many Super Bowls has never heard of this theory, but does think that it is convenient that for the past three years the colors have corresponded with the teams playing.

Maybe the NFL is taking their best shot at a marketing tactic. They could be seeing which teams are standing out in each conference and make a prediction that hopefully sticks when the playoffs are over.

Well, I guess we will find out on Jan. 28 who the final two teams are.

Super Bowl 58 will take place on Feb. 11 at 3:30 p.m. PST and can be aired on CBS and Paramount Plus.
