SPOKANE, Wash. — Deputies are attempting to locate a person piloting a small ultra-light/paraglider-type aircraft with mechanical issues.
According to officials, deputies responded to a report of an aircraft descending due to engine problems around 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
The person’s welfare is unknown, and police are currently searching for both the aircraft and the person, per Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials are asking the pilot or assisting crew to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233, reference #10190455, and ensure that the pilot landed safely. Anyone with information on this case is urged to call.
