CUSICK, Wash. — Cusick School District will be closed for the rest of the week due to a burst pipe.

According to Superintendent Don Hawpe, a pipe had burst inside a classroom that had flooded most of the school.

Due to the severity of this flood, school has been canceled for the rest of the week while crews work to dry out classrooms and check for mold.

At this time, the school district will reassess the situation on Monday, Jan. 29 to see if they will be able to reopen for regular operating hours.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available. Check back for updates.
