From Spokane Regional Health District:

SPOKANE, Wash. – Heavy snow has caused an infrastructure failure at the Community COVID-19 Testing Site at Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC), making it necessary to close today.

Officials at Discovery Health MD, operators of the mass testing sites, explained that one of the center beams of the drive through structure collapsed under the weight of the snow rendering it unsafe for use. All those with appointments will be notified via email or called if an email was not provided.

Operators say a repair team is on the way, but whether the site will be able to open tomorrow remains unknown.

The site’s staff will transfer to the testing site at the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center in Spokane Valley by 11 a.m. to help with the increased volume they are excepting at that location. Due to the increase in volume to accommodate appointments from the SFCC site, the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center will only be able to test those with appointments. All appointments for today have been filled.
