PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University students and Pullman residents were able to see the Cosmic Crisp hot air balloon fly across the town this morning.

WSU has partnered with Cosmic Crisp to create the ultimate apple. After over 20 years, they have created the biggest breakthrough in our time with the result of the Cosmic Crisp.

This was a custom balloon that was 85 feet tall with a volume of 90,000 Cosmic Crisp apples. It featured their logo, a apple red color, a stem, leaf and 232 individually hand-crafted starry lenticels.

This was the first stop for the Cosmic Crisp’s balloon tour, the rest of the schedule has not been released yet.
