SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Indians mascot Ribby the Redband Trout celebrated his birthday on Saturday.
The beloved fish was introduced to fans in 2017 and highlights the importance of protecting Redband Trout in the Spokane River.
The City of Spokane wished Ribby a happy birthday via social media.
In a picture shared by the city, the trout can be seen enjoying the STA’s City Line. The electric route debuted during the summer of 2023 and recently surpassed the 500,000 riders mark.
It is clear that Ribby enjoyed his birthday and perhaps enjoyed a ride around the Lilac City.
