CHATTAROY, Wash. – Court documents report that Timothy King was paranoid that he was “going to be sacrificed” before he allegedly shot at fire fighters trying to put out a blaze at his home which he started himself.

The Spokane County court documents claim that King was in an argument with a person in his home who thought that he was experiencing meth withdrawal on Tuesday night.

King allegedly prevented the individual from leaving the house, at which point he started to destroy the residence. He then went to his truck to grab a gun.

When the person with whom King was arguing left the residence, they later returned to find that the house was on fire, which fire fighters have classified as arson committed by King himself.

After Spokane County firefighters arrived at the scene, they reportedly ran behind a fire engine after being shot at twice by King.

The alleged arsonist then purportedly ran into a wooded area near the home, where he was arrested by Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies who arrived at the scene after emergency responders.

Once being arrested, deputies allegedly found two spent shotgun shells, a Bible and a bottle of vodka on the ground near where King was handcuffed by law enforcement.

King is currently in Spokane County Jail and faces seven charges related to the alleged conduct. His bail was set at $250,000.
