CDA Fire Department looking for fire hydrant designs created by residents of Coeur d’ Alene

COEUR D’ ALENE, Idaho. — The Coeur d’ Alene (CDA) Fire Department is looking for submissions for new fire hydrant designs.

Residents of Coeur d’ Alene have until Nov. 30 to send in their designs. The CDA Fire Department will be choosing two winners in December.

Each winner will get to paint a hydrant outside of the fire station’s headquarters downtown CDA.

According to the department’s Facebook post, those wanting to participate must download the provided template on the official CDA Fire Department website and look under “Community Events.”

Email your design to cdafire@cdaid.org or mail/drop it off at their headquarters at 300 E. Foster Ave.

When submitting your design, include the designer’s name and contact information. If the contestant is under 16, please include the name and phone number of the parent or guardian.
