WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden is heading to Florida to raise money for his reelection campaign. He’ll be on the home turf of his likely Republican opponent, Donald Trump, who is close to locking down his party’s nomination. Biden is eager to stockpile campaign cash to promote his record, especially after a wave of recent positive economic news. He’s also increasingly targeting Trump in hopes of turning the election into a referendum on his divisive predecessor. Biden’s fundraisers Tuesday will be held in Jupiter and Miami.
