AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash.- The Airway Heights Police Department gave a two year old boy in the foster care system a present to remember–a ride in a police car.
Chief Brad Richmond hosted the child’s party with balloons, cupcakes and presents at Wolffy’s Diner.
In a video posted to Facebook, a group of officers celebrated with the excited boy, who was sung happy birthday by members of the department and received his own police garb to wear while he rode in the police car.
The boy was also given a tour of a fire truck by the Airway Heights Fire Department.
It is clear that a young person in Airway Heights had a great second birthday on Feb. 9.
