SPOKANE, Wash. – A woman has died due to injuries nearly a week after a rollover crash on US-395, eight miles north of Spokane.

According to Washington State Patrol, the woman was 85-year-old Marian Stewart from Naches. On Sept 16, Stewart was headed north on US-395. While attempting to merge right, she drove onto the shoulder, overcorrected, and lost control of the vehicle. The car rolled multiple times, coming to a stop in the northbound lanes.

Speed played a factor in the crash. Stewart was wearing her seatbelt.

First responders provided aid on scene, and she was transported to hospital in serious condition. Unfortunately, her injuries were too severe, and WSP reported she had died on Sept. 22.
