4 suspects on the run after shooting near Northtown Mall

SPOKANE, Wash. – Multiple suspects are on the run after a shooting near the Northtown Mall on Thursday, according to the Spokane Police Department (SPD).

SPD confirmed that just before 5 p.m. on Dec. 14, shots were fired outside the Northtown Mall. Witnesses said someone fired a gun from the parking structure when the suspect entered the mall with a group of three other people.

The four suspects were in the mall for about 25 minutes before leaving. SPD said that they did not bother anyone when the suspects were in the mall.

The primary suspect has not been identified, but police believe they have a photo of him.

This incident remains under investigation.
