2 with serious injuries after SUV crashed into building in Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. — An SUV crashed into a building Tuesday afternoon resulting in both the driver and passenger suffering serious injuries.

On Oct. 3 around 5 p.m., first responders were called to a technical rescue at Francis and Addison in North Spokane.

According to crews on scene, the driver suffered some type of medical episode causing him to lose control of the vehicle.

The drivers wife was in the passenger seat as the car smashed into the building.

Both suffered serious injuries, it is not clear at this time the current condition.

The scene has been cleared.
