5/13/26 UPDATE — The two missing teenage boys from North Idaho have been located safe.
According to the Coeur d’Alene Police Department, Elijah Boerner and Michael Magee were found in Washington Tuesday.
Police say a person recognized them from information shared about their disappearance.

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The Coeur d’Alene Police Department is asking for help finding two runaway teenage boys.
According to the Police Department, 15-year-old Elijah James Boerner ran away on Monday with another boy, 15-year-old Michael Robert Magee.
Police say before leaving, Elijah stole money from his parents and was trying to obtain a fake ID.
The families of the boys believe they may still be in the Spokane area or traveling south toward Los Angeles.
Elijah is 6 feet 1 inch tall, 150 pounds with brown eyes and short brown hair.
Michael is 5 feet 8 inches tall, 140 pounds with light brown hair and blue eyes.
If you see either boy, contact your local police department.
