12-time convicted felon who escaped community custody was located and arrested

SPOKANE, Wash. — A 12-time convicted felon who was wanted for escaping community custody was found and arrested by Spokane County’s Investigative Unit (SCIU).

On Dec. 11, SCIU requested assistance to help locate 42-year-old Michael Majestic who is a wanted 12-time convicted felon. He has prior convictions of possession of a stolen firearm, unlawful possession of firearm and robbery.

SCIU began searching for Majestic after he was driving and allegedly eluded patrol deputies multiple times.

RIG9 Analysts began working on the request to find Majestic with assistance from Flock Automatic License Plate Readers (ALPR).

On Dec. 12, these cameras alerted law enforcement that Majestic’s vehicle was in seen. SCIU detectives responded and located the car.

Detectives obtained a search warrant and with assistance from SWAT they were able to establish a perimeter around the home.

Majestic attempted to escape but was located and arrested on scene. Another occupant in the home, 34-year-old Matthew Miller, was found and had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

A third occupant, 31-year-old Teanna Jackson, had an active domestic violence no contact order prohibiting her from coming within two city blocks of a protected individual.

Miller was booked into Spokane County Jail for his outstanding warrant for malicious mischief and Jackson was booked for violating a no contact order.

Michael Majestic was booked into Spokane County Jail for his Washington State Department of Corrections (DOC) warrant for escape from community custody and a new charge of residential burglary, theft, trafficking stolen property and eluding law enforcement.
