SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – An apartment fire in Spokane Valley sent one woman to hospital on Tuesday morning.
According to the Spokane Valley Fire Department, the fire began on a second-story unit at the Manor Vale Apartments, just off of Herald and Main. Inside, they found multiple dead pets, and one woman was transported for treatment at a nearby hospital. She received minor injuries from the fire.
Firefighters were able to stop the flames from spreading to nearby apartments, although some still suffered smoke and water damage.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
