SPOKANE, Wash. — One person was hospitalized and another detained in connection to a shooting in downtown Spokane Friday afternoon, according to a spokesperson for the Spokane Police Department.
The victim of the shooting was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, per the police spokesperson.
Police said a suspect was detained within four minutes of officers arriving at the scene. As of about 5 p.m., police were questioning the suspect. There was no word yet on if that person would be booked in jail or face charges.
