AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – The Airway Heights Police Department (AHPD) and Fire Department made a young boy’s birthday unforgettable.
Scout, who was recently diagnosed with three types of epilepsy, had a special request for his birthday. He wished for a party with the police and fire department.
His wish was granted as members of both departments joined Scout to celebrate.
“In the face of a tough diagnosis and a challenging journey, Scout’s birthday was a moment of light – surrounded by the people he looks up to most,” the AHPD said.
