SPRAGUE, Wash. — The body of a woman who had been missing since Thursday has been found on a property in Sprague.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, A Sprague man called first responders around 10 a.m. on Tuesday to say there was a dead body in his backyard.
Investigators learned the body was that of 26-year-old Aspen Valdez, who had been reported missing on Feb. 26.
LCSO said Valdez had got out of a family vehicle on foot near Sprague and said she was heading to Spokane.
Valdez’s cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Anyone who might have security footage or has seen Valdez since Feb. 26 near Sprague is asked to call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 509-725-3501.
