WASHINGTON, D.C. – The White House is set to undergo a renovation with the addition of a new ballroom, according to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
During a recent briefing, Leavitt addressed several topics, including trade deals, but also highlighted the upcoming changes to the White House.
Leavitt stated that President Trump has expressed a commitment to addressing the lack of space needed for large events and to solving the problem on behalf of future administrations and the American people.
Currently, the White House struggles to host major functions honoring world leaders and other countries without setting up a large tent roughly 100 yards from the main building entrance.
The new ballroom aims to provide a suitable venue for these kinds of gatherings.
