WENATCHEE, Wash. – The Wenatchee Downtown Association (WDA) announced a heartfelt tribute to the Decker girls with pink, purple and green ribbons tied to trees across town. These were the favorite colors of Paityn, Evelyn, and Olivia Decker.
“Our community has come together to wrap Wenatchee in their memory,” the WDA stated. “It’s a simple gesture, but a powerful reminder that we are holding space for them, and for everyone who loved them.”
In addition to the ribbons being displayed throughout Wenatchee’s downtown area, a public memorial ceremony is set to take place Friday night at 7 p.m., honoring the Decker girls and allowing the community to gather in remembrance.
