Weather whiplash as we go from 60s🌡️ to a chance of snow ❄️

Expect much colder weather today, along with a chance for snow showers. Heavy mountain snow and gusty winds will dominate our pattern this week.

Plan Your Monday

Monday features heavy snow in the Cascades which could easily snarl travel over Snoqualmie and Stevens Passes. A foot of snow in those areas today is a strong possibility.

Lowland areas will see temperatures 20 degrees cooler than this weekend with highs in the 40s. Scattered snow showers will develop on Monday afternoon. It will be a little breezy as well with gusts up to 30 mph at times. Snow showers remain possible into the late evening, with a valley dusting possible after sunset.

What We’re Tracking

Beyond the next 24 hours, a strong system arrives Wednesday through Thursday. This brings another chance of 50 mph wind gusts for Spokane, Pullman, and Wenatchee. Additionally, heavy mountain snow continues with several feet possible at the passes through the end of the workweek. Valley precipitation during this period will start off as snow on Wednesday morning but quickly turn to rain.
