SPOKANE, Wash. – A temporary detour is in place for drivers after a water main break on South Washington Street, according to the City of Spokane in a social media post.
The repair is taking place on South Washington Street between West 8th Avenue and West 6th Avenue.
A detour is in place at West 8th Avenue and Bernard Street to West 6th Avenue, according to the City of Spokane.
“Water distribution is minimized for repair, causing temporary low pressure for surrounding buildings,” the city said. “All nearby buildings are maintaining local access. No estimated time for reopening at this point.”
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible.
