WASHINGTON – Washington State Patrol (WSP) is hosting a celebration of life for Trooper Tara-Marysa Guting, who was recently killed in the line of duty.
The celebration will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, Dec. 27 at the Life Center Central Campus located at 1717 S. Union Ave. in Tacoma.
According to WSP, they are working with Trooper Guting’s family for the ceremony, which will be intimate and family-focused with appropriate law enforcement honors.
A law enforcement processional will not be held and the ceremony will focus on family, friends and colleagues.
Space is limited, and the event will be live streamed at a later time.
“The family wishes to thank the public for the many condolences received and the widespread outpouring of support,” WSP said.
