SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Washington State Parks is inviting the community to an open house on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Argonne Library in Spokane Valley. The meeting will focus on the future of Mount Spokane.

Two long-term visions for the park’s next 20 years will be presented. The first option, named “Community Mountain,” aims to upgrade existing trails and facilities.

The second option, “Recreation Destination,” proposes new development projects to increase year-round tourism.

Officials are emphasizing the importance of public feedback. They stated, “Your feedback is what matters most.” This input will be crucial in shaping priorities and setting a timeline for the project.

The planning process began last year, making this open house a significant opportunity for community members to share their thoughts.
