WASHINGTON STATE — The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is introducing a new program aimed at helping businesses transition to cleaner vehicles. The $112 million program is set to open in April.

Businesses will be able to request vouchers through the WSDOT program to lower the upfront purchase prices of vehicles and equipment. Eligible vehicles include construction vehicles, agriculture machinery, forklifts and commercial boats.

Small businesses will have access to enhanced incentives under this program.

The program’s goal is to reduce emissions in Washington state by making cleaner vehicles and equipment more affordable.
