WASHINGTON – Washington state was ranked 9th in the United States for hiking in a recent report from EDGE Fall Protection LLC.
Other states in the top 10 include Wyoming, Hawaii, and New Hampshire.
Each state was ranked according to five metrics: natural attractions, air quality, protected wilderness, hiking engagement, and trail infrastructure.
