WASHINGOTN- The Washington State Department of Health has taken significant disciplinary actions against several health care providers, as detailed in a recent official document. Licenses, certifications and registrations have been revoked or suspended for individuals across the state.
Clark County:
Lam Luong Le entered an agreed order suspending his naturopathic physician credential for at least 10 years. This follows an indefinite suspension by the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine for engaging in sexual misconduct with a patient.
Chelan County:
the Department of Health suspended Mariana Vargas’ registered nursing assistant credential for at least five years. Vargas was placed on the long-term care abuse and neglect registry for financially exploiting a vulnerable adult, prohibiting her from working with vulnerable adults.
Snohomish County:
Iris Lynn O’Laughlin agreed to a suspension of her certified nursing assistant credential for at least 36 months after engaging in sexual misconduct with a patient in March 2025.
Thurston County:
the revocation of Marilou Salomon Goenett’s home care aide credential. Goenett was placed on the long-term care abuse and neglect registry, disqualifying her from working with vulnerable adults.Jonathan Mark Hoyer’s credentials were indefinitely suspended for failing to comply with terms of a monitoring program.Cheryl June Pagel’s certified nursing assistant credential was summarily suspended due to financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult.
Yakima County:
William Robert Lint’s registered nursing assistant credential was summarily suspended after he was found to have physically abused a vulnerable adult.
