Washington Attorney General suing over President’s executive order on mail-in voting

The President has long claimed U.S. elections and mail-in voting are rife with fraud without evidence.

AG Brown says the Constitution gives states the ability to control how they conduct elections. It’s alleged the executive order violates the separation of powers and interferes with state voting systems.

But this is patently unconstitutional,” Brown said. “Mail-in voting is safe and legal in Washington. We will do everything we can to defend it. And come November, despite the president’s lawless threats, we’ll once again use that power to protect our democracy.”
