Valentine’s Day weekend box office highlights romantic drama success

Movie-goers flocked to theaters over Valentine’s Day weekend, turning their attention to romance, animation and adventure.

According to early box office estimates, “Wuthering Heights,” starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, opened at the top, bringing in $34.8 million.

“GOAT” debuted in second place with $26 million. “Crime 101” made its third-place debut with $15.1 million.

“Send Help” was pushed to fourth place, earning $9 million, while “Solo Mio” settled in fifth with $6.8 million.
