SEATTLE, Wash. – A recent study from the University of Washington suggests that an app developed at the UW Medicine Center could provide significant support for people with schizophrenia.

The study, published in the Psychiatric Services Journal, involved 274 participants across Washington.

Researchers found that the app helped patients manage their symptoms effectively.

In some cases, it even showed a decrease in the frequency of visits to emergency departments.

This development could represent a promising step forward in mental health care.
